Nurses
Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

HAYLEY JONES
Is available to see patients F2F both AM and PM, two days a week usually on a Tuesday and a Wednesday although this can differ. Hayley can assess symptoms, examine you, make a diagnosis and provide you with advice on managing your condition. Hayley can also make referrals and issue prescriptions.
Practice Management
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Reception
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, scanning and collating hospital letters and registering new patients. The team comprises Jayne, Tracy, Liz and Ami.

ROB WEGLICKI
Rob Weglicki is the Pharmacist employed by the practice. Rob assists the GPs by providing medication reviews. He also undertakes Asthma reviews with patients over the age of 16 years old. Rob also works closely with the Community Pharmacists and the Primary Care Network, ensuring guidelines and policies are monitored and implemented.
Community Midwives

Appointments are available on a Tuesday afternoon.
Community Nurses
The District Nurses can be contacted on 0300 300 7777. They provide care to those patients who are unable to make into the surgery, such as the housebound etc.
Health Visitors
The Health Visitors are available to give advice and support for children under five years only, and those with special needs. They will help to assess the child’s development and general health during the early years. Appointments via arrangement only on 0116 215 3205.
Physiotherapist
Appointments with our physio Salim are available for patients over the age of 16 on a Monday Morning and a Wednesday Morning.
